  • Because they are pychopaths and sociopaths and are very sick individuals.
  • they need serious helop or they don't feel safe so they torture something smaller than them
  • Who are these people?
  • Because they are bunch of sick, twisted, sadistic bastards that were abused growing up so they take their anger out on these poor and helpless animals.
  • I don't think it is okay to hurt or torture any living thing. But I do think it's ok to eat animals.
  • They have a severe mental disorder (Sociopathic Personality Disorder), and urgently require 'significant' mental help, both in the form of psychiatry and medication.
  • Some people are friggin nuts not to mention cruel.
  • Because they lack compassion and empathy...their brains are wired to not feel anyones pain whether it's an animal of human.
  • Guess their sensitivity chip's missing :-)
  • The animals are smaller, they can take advantage of them. It makes them feel superior to the small life they hold in their hands. When they torture the animal it gives them the feeling that they are in control of the animals life. This usually only happens when they person doing this is struggling or has struggled with their life and emotions. It is sick but it can be helped and that is part of my job, to help the people who cannot help themselves.
  • I dont know. People never cease to amaze me, some have so much to answer for. I read in the paper today about teenagers cutting a kittens tail and paw off for 'fun'. It really makes me sick, they ought to be hung.
  • It breaks my heart that some people believe they have the right to injure anything. We have no rights to hurt children, animals, or other human beings. Where does it stop though and how can we stop it?Only by education. Education to show that it's not cissy to show respect for others. Education that it's not a bad thing to show affection to someone else. Education to show that everything deserves to be in life, and it's no one's right to take that liberty away. This education begins with every parent the moment their child is born, to instil in that child the importance of respect for every living thing on this earth. I have managed to do it, and my son has reached the age of 21 without hurting anything, and that is purely by my instilling in him respect for everything that has its place in the world. Sadly, the only problems created in this world are of human making. The animal kingdom works to a strict code, which we as homosapians, seem to have lost somewhere along the way. Until we can re-find that code, the world will remain as savage as it is today.
  • I've had hunters in my family and what you ask hasn't got an easy answer. Shooting animals for sport completely escapes me. Shooting animals for food, I understand. One winter, my husband and I were driving through Colorado and saw many starving deer lying beside the highway. Colorado authorized a deer season to help put these animals out of their misery. That I KIND OF understand.
  • I don't think "people" enjoy these things. I think some sociopaths and psychopaths do. But that is so few people.
