Certain keys will not work on my laptop - the keys are UIOP which also have numbers on them - I press them and get nothing - How can I fix this? Thanks

Without actually seeing your laptop, it sounds like mechanical failure. But you may want to check and see if the number lock or scroll lock keys are activated. On laptops, they can sometimes alter the function of certain keys. However, they shouldn't stop the function of them all together.

Ok well, I think numbers are locked, this happened before but I cannot remember how I undud it. How do you turn the number locks off? Or reset to default? I cannot get to my registry because I can only use certain numbers, what keys do I press on the key board to turn number lock off? Thanks
