  • Well, where did you find out they were against terrorism? Maybe those people were from Islam but didn't believe in Allah or anything that the Muslims did. Because you always do have to find reliable information in order not to mislead. Maybe the religious leaders didn't hear about the terrorism attacks, maybe they were fake, maybe they weren't big, or there can be a lot of possibilities. Just because the Muslims are against terrorism doesn't mean they go against it all the times, or are speechless, or they just don't care. Or something like that. There are many more ideas swimming around in my head.
  • Good question.
  • Because it has not yet been revealed (media) whether or not these terrorists were actually Muslims....
  • Maybe you arent listening hard enough?

  • The MCB (Muslim Council of Britain) has for many years complained that all major news organs do not print/relate their condemnation of such acts. Believe me, each and every time something like this happens, there are Muslim political, social and religious leaders speaking out against it. They are rarely given a platform by the news organisations. Think about why news organisations exist (and if anyone says 'to give us the news' I think I'll just die laughing). The media relates what they think will get 'votes' in terms of papers sold or viewing figures achieved. This is their reason for existence, nothing else. Playing such acts down by having a suitable person state, 'This is evil, we condemn it.' does not give them the tabloid 'shock and awe' they seek to achieve. In short, you are being short-changed by your media. Anyone who thinks that Muslim = Terrorist should speak to my brother (who converted to Islam 25 years ago) for half an hour, and be enlightened.
  • There are a few condemned it. But not enough to change the minds of people. We need more and more people come forward to condemn those attacks. For that matter any attacks on humanity.
