  • I think that the state I live in SUCKS.... I live in Virginia, they just passed a law where if you get caught speeding then its an automatic $1000 fine, minimum. not to mention its a commonwealth. I enjoyed living in Illinois, but I was a teenager, and I think I had a lot of fun there, so for me thats the best state that I've ever lived in, aside from the cost of living.
  • Actually I think my state is the worst. My reasons include, but are not limited to - 1) There are wheat fields everywhere you look. Period. 2) This is where Fred Phelps lives. 3) Tornados 4) It is nearly 80% Republican. 5) The whole state smells like pig farms. 6) Our biggest attractions are placed where famous cowboys died of horrible diseases. 7) We are the farthest place in America from the ocean.

  • Well I'll tell you the worst is New Jersey because I live there and it's so corrupt and expensive.. the best state from what people tell me is North Carolina..
  • I don't know if there is a 'worst' state to live in because there is good & bad in every state. I've been to a lot with my husband & traveled all over & I can find good & bad in every state. So far my preference is Florida, Panama City & Daytona beach but on the opposite side of both of them you have a ghetto area that I would never want to be caught in the dark or broke down alone. I guess me personally though I can always find good & bad in anything & just lean more toward the good & not classify the whole as bad.
  • i dunno about the worst.. but the best place i lived in in the USA, was Portland Maine.. i loved that place.. people r soo nice and friendly and very very open! the city it's self is just perfect.. not too big but not too small! the ocean is right there and the bar scene in the city is amazing!! over all i would give it a 9.5 out of 10.. i wouldn't give it a 10 because the winter there can be a little rough!!
  • A state of consciousness and unconsciousness are the best and worst states to live in. Though some (with the life they have had) would prefer the state of unconsciousness to consciousness.
  • the best from the states where i have been would be pennslavania, and the worst iowa. to where i have not been the best would be arizona, and the worst alaska, i hate cold.
  • There are many state that are pretty good to live in. California is nice. Good weather, jobs not hard to find, rents high but attainable. Oregon isn't bad either. I like New York but taxes are high and jobs are hard to find, weather is pretty bad at times. I don't think there are worst states as the ones with few jobs have very low living expenses or the ones that don't have many people, have cheap land. And they all een out.
