Hey, I need some help, need to change the back wheel bearing on my Clio (1.2 16v (2002) - Drums)...but dont have much clue on how to do it? If someone could help that'd be really appreciated! Thanks a lot Jo

Hey Jo, you need to take off the wheel and take off the rear drum if the bearing is not there then in the middle of the drum should be a cap under the cap should be the bearing, it is a cylinder bearing in a ring bout 1.5" diameter. I hope this helps?

I could give you instructions but without diagrams or pictures you will just get lost. Wheel bearings are an essential part of the drivetrain. If a bearing seizes up it could lock a tire at highway speeds, sending the vehicle into a skid and crashing the car. Pay to have the procedure done professionally and rest easy. If you want to learn, go to a small shop and ask the guy if you can watch while he does it. I know you are trying to save money but this is not one of those places where being cheap pays off. Get it done right and forget about it.
