Not all viral attacks. Some may still be affective while others won't. There are some viruses that were designed to destroy serveral types of computers.

Like Kyogre said, there are SOME viruses that are designed for different operating systems. Typically, though, people who design these malicious programs target WINDOWS users - not only because of the security flaws in the Windows operating system and other software, but because the majority of PC users USE Windows. That means they're able to affect a larger percentage of the population than if they targetted a more *obscure* OS like linux.
