  • Not all viral attacks. Some may still be affective while others won't. There are some viruses that were designed to destroy serveral types of computers.
  • Like Kyogre said, there are SOME viruses that are designed for different operating systems. Typically, though, people who design these malicious programs target WINDOWS users - not only because of the security flaws in the Windows operating system and other software, but because the majority of PC users USE Windows. That means they're able to affect a larger percentage of the population than if they targetted a more *obscure* OS like linux.
