My first instinct is to interpret the question in the sense of "how could God convince me of his identity". If God is omnipotent, then he could simply alter my mind so that I magically knew the truth of His existence. But is that proof? Not in the sense we normally mean it. Ultimately, proof requires eliminating all other possibilities, including self-delusion, hallucination, etc. And it's not just a matter of attaining personal certainty, but of finding enough evidence and logic that we'd expect any reasonable person should be convinced. Even this is a subjective measure, though. And we rarely, if ever, actually claim to prove anything to this degree. Instead, we only "prove" things in a relative sense, beyond some small measure of doubt, but not absolutely. There is always room for doubt, in principle. So what kind of evidence would God have to provide for this level of proof? I would say that it would have to at least be something totally unexplainable by natural causes, even in principle. Something like rearranging the stars in the sky to unambiguously spell out some word or picture.

definitely a miracle, but i am not quite sure. I would think that I would know immediately, but if that was not tre, then I do not exactly know at the moment, but I know that a miracle would DEFNITELY work 4 me!

I wouldn't ask God to prove himself to me, for is written: "You shall not tempt the Lord your God". If I need proof of the existence of God then I really only need to look around me. God left His signature on the Universe for all who have eyes to see.

If god were real he/she/it wouldn't have set up some bizarre test ritual of good behavior, bad behavior, believe, not believe or fry for eternity type of foolishness. There are cosmic forces and people want to put human type characteristics to them because they are simply to lazy to try to understand these forces or because they don't think they can ever be understood so they say, "OH, it must be a super life form with knowledge of everything that i have no knowledge of." We like to think teachers know everything, but they never do and this god figure is in the minds of people to make a feeble attempt to understand the non-understandable forces of the cosmos. Sounds great on paper, but the reality it all falls quickly apart. The problem is most people have no real interest in reality. It's much easier to chalk it up to super man in the sky without tights. You want me to buy it? Create a new planet with life on it completely out of pure nothingness..a vacuume .

You would have to be in the mirror in the morning when I go there to shave. Otherwise, I come to learn what is Not God by eliminating every last possibility until I understand that the closest possibility of meeting God is that which, finally, I cannot look directly in the eye, because it is God's eye that is doing any looking.
