  • I suspect that if Jesus were to return incognito, as it were, most "christians" would reject him, the churches would turn him away, and mainstream AB would crucify him in a much less literal sense.
  • I certainly hope not, but I fear he would have some. I would like to speak with him. From what I have heard and the little I have read, he was a good fellow. Yes, I believe he lived and many of his stories are recorded in the Bible. I just do not believe he was the son of God.
  • I imagine it would be similar to the story in the Bible. He'd have a few devoted followers, but everyone else ends up thinking he's crazy. Doesn't matter to me though, I just like the thought of Jesus using the internet. What's he gonna do when he runs into a porn advertisment?
  • That's exactly what the Pharisees, the Sadducees and the devil did; Matthew 22 and Matthew and Luke 4. However, He always won the argument--so they crucified Him--but He beat them there, too, by rising from the dead.
  • I think he would be ripped to shreds.
  • My God, that reminds me of soooooooooo many internet memes. Jesus head going "HA-HA! I'm using the INTERNET!" Also, Jesus on the cross going "brb!" and someone going "lol" That'd be sooo funny, though.
  • Yes, I believe that the religious right, if they didn't know it was Jesus, would fight him every step of the way, especially if he were to speak about tolerance.
  • Very likely. People have their own interpretation of the bible.
  • Seeing as how the bible, like the history books, only includes what certain people see fit it's highly unlikely these enlightened users have any real case. Like that'll stop them.
  • 1) One thing is sure, nothing would surprise him. He is God, remember? 2) the best way to infuriate a know-it-all, is to give him a good definition of what they are: http://www.answerbag.com/a_view/1017838 3) Enlightedment is something *very* different 4) don't be so pessimistic, I think there are also enough good people here who would get his message
  • Haha, I can totally see that happening.
  • Well, look around, it would most certainly seem to be the trend.
