  • Since this is in the Bones forum I can only assume you have an issue with your skeleton. A plastic surgeon might (that is a stretch there) might shave some bone down - if you are willing to pay out the nose and take the extreme risks of bone disease, and other conditions that may ultimately end up with you wishing you were dead (a fate worse than death). You are born with the body you got. You either love it or you leave it. If you leave it its a permanent thing, can't go back if you change you mind. There are things you can change - lose fat, gain muscle through proper diet and exercise. You can gain an inch of height if you wear the right shoes, stand up straight and wear your hair in a style that pushes it up. You can not change the shape of your bones (unless you break them) you can not change the fact that your a destined to fat or not - fat is 50% genetic and 50% how you eat. You can not change the color of your eyes (wearing contacts does not change the color of your eyes, they only cover your eyes) you can not change the color of your hair (nope, dyeing doesn't count same principle as contacts). Grant me the serenity to accept the things I can not change (that would be your bones) The courage to change the things I can (your personal outlook on your body) and the Wisdom to know the difference (Knowing that there are things you can't change, but knowing that you can change how you feel about those things)
  • Fat can be worked off. Muscle can be toned. Bones are there for the duration. Find out how to dress to best take advantage of your shape, and remember, for most of human history, curvy women were the desirable ones.
  • If you can't get over the size of your hips compared to the rest of your torso and stomach, put on weight! OR, seek help from any specialist who can help you love your hips as they are.
  • Fat can be lost yes, however if your talking about your hip bone, then no. You're stuck with what you've got. (But that's not a bad thing!)
  • seek out people who love big hips
