Someone who doesn't "beat around the bush," they get straight to the subject. Like walking in a straight line to something instead of going around it.
He/she tells you as it is and doesn't beat around the bush. Doesn't lie basically and attacks the issue full on.
Someone who says what they think without beating round the bush.
Says it like it is!!
If you like them: Someone who talks straight, doesn't beat about the bush - efficient communicator!
If you don't like them: An impatient, rude, tactless shit!
Something you can not be in the USA anymore.
One who is able to skip the minutia and focus on the real issue.
In addition to the other answers; When discussing,it's easy at times to get side tracked and loose the focus of where the conversation was headed in the first place.
Additionally there are those who get lost in words and loose the thought of what they were actually trying to say. Then you attempt to bring the conversation back to the point.
