  • http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Legality_of_cannabis#Switzerland "Cannabis is classified as an illegal narcotic in Switzerland" In my mind, it is not tolerated. Laws were set up because certain people couldn't tolerate other people's actions. So tolerance and law are the same, if you tolerate an illegal activity then you should change the laws, as they are clearly pointless and blur the lines between what is legal and what is not to the point where nobody cares and we all kill each other in a blind rage of sober fury. "The enforcement of the prohibition on cannabis is spotty" -wikipedia They grow it, sell it on the street and sell "scent bags" from shops, which the police might raid if they feel like it. I've bought Cannabis in Lausanne and Geneva, on the street. An area in Lausanne had "No Dealing" written on the floor like a car parking space with "No Parking". I guess they treat Cannabis infractions as they do traffic violations.
