  • Tell them the ant made you do it..!
  • Probably not gonna get out of it, even if you do have your license now. The penalty depends on where you live, how many prior offenses you've commited, and whether the judge is in a good mood that day.
  • It would be difficult since the violation was driving without a valid license. The only way I think is if you can prove that you did have a valid license when you were served with the ticket.
  • 1) You just admitted that you did not have a license for 6 years. In addition, that license was revoked (which means you obviously broke more than a few laws) and you did not voluntarily give it up. 2) You were driving without a license by your own admission, validating the ticket. 3) You obtained your license 5 years after you were eligible to do so, and only after you received a ticket for operating a vehicle without one. This shows extreme neglect and irresponsibility to a judge. My advice (not trying to be harsh but it will be) is that you have a very slim chance, if at all, of getting out of this ticket. The points will be applied to your existing license. Some provinces will allow a discount if you pay soon, so I'd suggest that route. One question: Did the officer tow your vehicle or did someone come drive it home for you? Hope this helps, Good luck
  • ask for a prayer for judgement and it will not go on your license.
  • In this situation, you should have placed the cart before the horse. in other words, you drove a vehicle for one year and were never stopped, lucky you. its now time to pay the piper for that freedom. Having you drivers license now, will have no bearing on the outcome in traffic court. you are lucky you were not arrested. in Tennessee, suspended or revoked drivers license, will earn you a trip to jail. Based on your circumstances, you may get three days in jail. Depends on the law in your jurisdiction.
  • I've watched many a traffic violater go before the judge on various charges. You'll do better on this charge with a lawyer, which I'm very suprised no one has yet to suggest. Depending on the state you live in, the county, the judge and the DA, you can probably get out of this with a fine (definitely) and probation. The probation will mean no traffic violations PERIOD during the length of probation, or you'll have your license suspended and have to serve some jail time (like Miss Hilton just did). As long as you obey ALL stipulations of the probation you won't do any jail time. In the future, don't think you can disobey the law and not get caught, no matter how minor the charge may seem to you. Especially, now, this one.
