  • Maybe of something he loved, my dad was a keen fisherman so we had a anchor made up of his fav flowers, sun flowers :) all the best for the funeral x
  • I'm sorry to hear of the loss of this boy at such a young age.You could have an arrangement of his name in his favourite colour or perhaps of something he liked, but not too jokey. Why don't you speak to a funeral director's and see if they could give you some tips?
  • Any thing you take for him having some smell of love in it.I am really sorry to hear that.Hope his soul rests in peace.
  • i think a florist would know what to send. call up one you've used before or have heard good things about and ask them what to send. maybe include the high school's colors or the colors of the college he was planning to attend.
  • I have taken to giving a potted plant, so that the ones left behind can put it in the garden and have a reminder of their loved one. Something that will grow reasonably tall and have lovely flowers in the warm months.
  • What about a donation to a charity instead of flowers, i know most funerals where i live now ask that people give dontations eg to cancer research, baby unit or somewhere at the local hospital. Flowers are lovely but are not cheap, at least donations can go towards helping others. My deepest sympathy about your sons friends death, so tragic at such a young age.
