Make sure to check your ground. You also, should have a fuse in the side of the amp and one on the main power coming off the battery, make sure to check them both. Also your remote turn on is a factor so check that. Usually you will find powering them from the battery lights them up, but the remote turn on or RTO lets them actually work. Otherwise, you may have popped a fuse inside the amp.

internal fuse,sounds like you touched the power wire on the speaker wires and shorted something.
