There's three things going on, basically: AB-Bernice is operated by Answerbag itself, it seems to be automated question generator of some kind. Whomever finds the power cord for this device first and pulls it out wins our undying gratitude. Some users are "points farming": basically doing their best to generate questions as part of an overall drive for points, rather than being guided by the desire to have interesting or fun conversations. Some users have a very high need for attention, and this tends to manifest as making a lot of "noise"... fluffy questions, fluffy answers, and lots of them. I really see the 2nd group as part of the 3rd, in that a strong craving for points is a close sibling of a strong craving for attention. These things aren't bad, but there's bad news about them anyway -- no amount of points or attention can really make someone happy and satisfied, and spending all of one's energy on that tends to distract from other things that might be more worthwhile...

You can't - people are entitled to ask whatever they wish and for whatever reason they want. What is irrelevant to one person may not be another. Your definition of a good question or one that deserves to be asked, may be completely different to somebody else.

Heres the thing BBbabette. Just about 99.99% of AB questions could be answered as easily as surfing the net or asking an elder (parent). Posting questions on AB is strictly in my opinion for entertainment, period.
