Bizarrely, this thought has crossed my mind. I sometimes wonder why Marianne Faithfull was cool, and Paris Hilton isn't. Can't get my head around it - but she still just isn't. But maybe there'll be some kind of revisionist movement in a few years time and she'll be seen as a feminist icon or something.
