I strongly dissagree. The Math component that is part of the real estate exam was much harder than I had expected. I recently got my license in California and was told that the math portion was very simple. I have a Bachelors of Science and was sure I would know what I was doing so I focused my studies on other topics. You must know in details such topics as calculating commisions, mortgage ballances, square footages and appraisal math. I had to use some books from Amazon as well as www.licenseprofessor.com before I was successful.

Addition, subtraction, multiplication, divion - at no higher than about the 4th to 6th grade level - AND some geometry. How do I know? I use addition, subtraction, multiplication and division almost every day. I used geometry about 4-6 times. Thanks for asking your Q! I enjoyed answering it!
