Help answer this question below.
All you should need is a wireless router. Netgear has an inexpensive and reliable one that has worked out great for us. You can pick one up at stores like Best Buy and Circuit City.
If your computer already has a wireless card then you should be set to go with just the router. Good luck!
Wireless enabled? Does that mean it has the antenna or do you need to plug one in?

What will happen is that you will plug in your laptop to the router and the router to the cable modem. Once you run the installation CD on your laptop you will make the Laptop the main computer.
Once that is done you should be able to switch from wired to wireless.
For belkin they have a wizard to help you: http://www3.belkin.com/wizard/(S(52q5fhypaxne1czfrqv0vozp))/netwiz/Default.aspx Select what you have.
I did it for a (singular) laptop running Windows and this is what it said was needed:
Your central connection point
N1 Wireless Router $149.99
Computer 1 N1 Wireless Notebook Card
Once you get the hardware the instructions are very easy and you can set up rather quickly.
There are other companies and services out there. Once you find what you need you could try craigslist to find the hardware you need.
Also, the company who made your laptop might also have all the hardware and how to manuals that you need.
$99.99
Assuming your ISP is wireless enabled (most are these days) all you would need to buy is a wireless router. And possibly a wireless network card if your lap top is not wireless.
When you use your computer that have wireless connections, do you use your wireless router at home or somebody else and tell me why?
