If you don't get it, we beautiful tattooed women will not be able to explain it to you. You won't be able to understand how these designs and pictures and words make us more beautiful to ourselves, how we feel more ourselves with our tattoos than without. You can't see how we accentuate and enhance ourselves with them. You find it hideous, which is fine, because tattooed women will not be sharing their bodies with you. Those tattoos aren't there to please you. So you might want to look away.

Why do women destroy their natural body by shaving, waxing, dying their hair, adding makeup, plucking? What a horrible thing to say about someone, and highly hypocritical. People who have tats do it because they want to, and they're not worried about how they look to other people. Beauty is in the eye of the beholder. Perhaps they use it to deflect people with your particular mindset away from them, so they only have open minded people around them.

I agree now! i wish i hadn't but i unsubconsciously had my peircings and tattoes on the R side of my body so i have a good side and a bad side :) but yes most look awful on a women :)

There is a point where it could become too much in my opinion. But thats just it - it's my opinion. Tattooing and piercing has a been a major part of many cultures. I think that a small tattoo with some meaning behind it is great but, I would never get one.

there is nothing wrong with females who want to have tattoos. why does it only have to be woman,why are men not included in this? men have tattoos all over there bodys and nobody says anything about them.

It's a matter of taste, a small tattoo of a black rose with a single purple petal hidden amongst the black petals can be viewed as quite classy and arty.

If you think that's bad you should watch the show Taboo on the science channel - tattoos seem like child's play after some of the stuff women subject themselves to in other parts of the world.

People do what they want to their bodies. If they feel attractive when they tattoo themselves or dye their hair or shave or do whatever they do they do it because they feel pretty. Beauty is in the eye of the beholder. I personally think that if the tattoos are done right and in the right spots they look amazing on these women. Plus tattoos dont make the persons, this just goes to show how shallow and insecure you are. If you cant not judge someone by what they have on them or what they wear then i dont know what to tell you besides your an idiot.

Try telling my hubby that my tats are hideous and ugly, try telling him that i have destroyed my natural beauty.... he would strongly disagree with you! I havent got myself tattooed for others to look at. I have got myself tattooed for very personal reasons. If you dont like, then just turn your head and look the other way. I actually think that a good tattoo can increase someones beauty.

The same thing that's wrong with men who destroy their natural good looks with tattoos. Hypocrite. I would almost bet you are a man with a tattoo. Do yourself a favor. Don't ask any more questions like this. You're liable to get someone pissed off and then have them hunt you down and beat your face in. Not that I would, but someone else might.

What is beautiful to one isn't to another. So tattoos on women are not you thing, that's perfectly fine. It's not hurting you in any way, so no need to complain about it. There are plenty of women who don't have tattoos that you can pursue.

I don't like them either. I don't mind a small one. I knew a girl who got a huge one done at the back of her neck and the "artist" totally screwed it up. It looks like a big orange blob. It was suppose to be the sun. Pretty hard to cover that one up.
