  • lotion?
  • The nipples or the skin around them? Dry skin has many causative factors. If it's just on your breasts, though, it's probably due to some kind of irritation from soap or other cosmetics, fabrics, or some kind of dermatitis. Try giving the skin a good exfoliation in the shower (avoid using any perfumed soaps for a while - try something hypoallergenic like Neutragena or a soap with colloidial oatmeal such as Aveeno) and apply a good quality moisturizer (again, no perfumes - hypoallergenic or something that contains colloidial oatmeal). You may also want to try switching laundry detergents. There are several brands that are perfume and dye free, or you can try one that's especially made for washing infant's clothing (those are generally VERY mild) and make sure all your shirts and bras get washed in the mild soap.
  • Moisturize! Get some really good lotion for sensitive skin. You may even want to go to a dermatologist and get some prescription cream.
  • Change your soap to something non-soap, then use the old OLIVE OIL method or pure lanoline. It is the best and is completely natural.
  • Cocoa butter lotion. Or vitamin E oil.
  • A great way to hydrate your skin is to take flax seed oil or essential fatty acids. They come in a pill/capsule form, and many versions of the flax seed oil comes in a tasteless, colorless liquid form. Taking these vitamins is a way to hydrate from the inside to create a more healthy outside. And the best part is, it's natural! You can call or visit your local pharmacy for more details regarding the products they carry. Good luck!
  • Perhaps a loofah and some almond oil
