Ketchup is a natural mustard repellent. When you squeeze both of them on the same plate you notice them moving apart. It's incredible.

I heard that Kool-Aid (Fruit Punch flavor) does a splendid job of overpowering a mustard stain. Or maybe it just makes it an orange stain. Hmm...

The first thing I would try is rubbing with waterless hand cleaner, then wash. You can also soak the item for 2 hours in white vinegar. Then wash in cold water while rubbing with a bar of soap. Soak 12 hours in the soapy water. Or, apply rubbing alcohol and then wash. Another method, is to soak the stain in equal parts water and hydrogen peroxide.
