  • I'm no medical expert but ususally that yellow-green foam is stomache bile... and if your pup is throwing it up, that is because he has an empty stomache. Now as to WHY he isn't eating...? Maybe you changed his food? I don't know... Also did your vet check for cocidia? Intestinal worms? blockage in the intestines? Good Luck whith this one sorry I can't help more, and I hope your baby is ok. Maybe you could force him to eat and drink and see if it helps him? (This may not be a good idea, I don't know... but if it was one of mine I probably would do it)
  • My dogs barf yellow-geen foam after they have eaten grass, but their tummies usually aren't upset for too long. Maybe find a different vet who will check things out more thoroughly. A pup who doesn't eat or drink (especially drink) is an ill puppy! Please have him checked out elsewhere!
  • My puppy done that when he was little about 3 months old but thank goodness it wasn't parvo it was however toad toxins. The silly lil thing licked everything he seen at the time & I had taken him outside to potty & noticed a frog jumping & he went to investigate it like all curious pups do & about 15 minutes later he started staggering & throwing up foam yellow green colored & I called the vet. They told me to take his food away for 12 hours that he had licked the frog & they secrete a poisen to ward off preditors through their skin when they feel threatened. I hope your puppy will be ok, did they offer to try & keep him & give him meds to help?
  • I am curious if he felt around his tummy area. Sometimes dogs have this sort of issue if they have eaten something like a sock or really anything. I had a dog go thru my trash and eat a corn on the cob whole this is what resulted. I would ask the vet to do an Xray and see if there is anything obstructing his stomach and colon.
  • Take your dog either back to this vet or preferably, take him to another vet. There is something quite wrong with him. Take somebody else along with you when you go for moral support. Your puppy is ill - he needs to see a (decent) vet. Now!!
  • try to remember if you have given him any small bones or fed him food with bones in it. if you have, then it probly got stuck in the wall of his esophogus or his stomach. so he is vometting up his own stomack acid. all you need to do is leave some water in the cage and let him do his thing until he gets the fragment out. im not an expert, but thats what happened to my dog.
