there are actually two sides to the larnyx (the main device in creating sound) so in a sense yes. Yeah there's like 10 or something. All i know is that the trivium singer and a7x both tore more than one and they can still sing so there's like a lot.

Yes, there are two. I have never heard of a person having any more (or less) than two vocal cords or vocal "folds" as they are also known. The normal human anatomy includes two vocal cords. Perhaps you are referring to the "false" vocal folds which are actually a pair of thick folds of mucous membrane that sit just above, and protect, the more delicate true vocal folds (cords). The false folds are also called vestibular folds and ventricular folds. There are 2 sets of vocal chords, there is one called the true vocal chords and there are a set of false.
