I used to. And plenty of people showed up. But then I threw a really BIG comment thread party and one of my very best friends skipped out, despite numerous invitations. So I fell into a deep, sorrowful depression, losing most of my self-esteem and really hitting bottom emotionally. I'm just now starting to turn the corner, I think... not feeling strong, but at least it doesn't seem to be getting any worse. This morning I looked in the mirror and thought "well, maybe there might be some reason for some people to live, I dunno" ... which is quite a step up from just a week ago. No i have never hosted one but have been part of many and usually there are about 5-10 ABers at a time on a comment thread but how can i host my own comment thread party?

I am addicted to doing so, actually. I feel so incredibly grateful to have friends that play along. It doesn't matter how many people come (well, only a little)... the important thing is that the consistent quality of the caliber of my guests knocks my socks off everyday.
