  • Depends on the severity of it, but I would probably be turned off a bit.
  • If it were severe enough to warrant notice (and presumably on the contact areas of the hands) I would say the person giving the massage would suffer far more than me. As it's not a condition that can be transferred, I can honestly say I wouldn't be bothered. Having thought about it a bit, I'd say a person with psoriasis would be more likely to know (through personal experience) about the effects of mild skin trauma than someone without, so, although it may sound strange, I'd be made more confident the therapist would be unlikely to go 'over the top' on my own skin.
  • My husband is a massage therapist and Shiatsu teacher. He says it would depend on where it is. Is it at your hairline or elbows or something. Can you cover it? Actually the oils and the work may be good for you. The de-stressing relaxing work may help, too.
