Sometimes I can breathe out through my ears and i dont know why, can you tell me why? Is it bad?

I can breath out of my eye. I know a guy that when he smokes he takes in smoke and takes it out of his eye

omg i can do the same thing to after i got hit in the ear with a baseball bat i can breathe through my ear i can feel the hot air and the whistling nose as i do it to in and out its so phyco my boyfriend says sometihng in my ear is popped plus when i burp it hurts like a bitch also you shuld get that checked out sorry for the mispelling im in a rush.

I have never heard of this but if it's true it sounds like you have punctured your ear drum and the air is going into the eustachean tube???

Do you know any anatomy at all? The ears are not even connected with the lungs....o.O Unless you have a huge hole in your head if so, get it checked out

Usually it's an indication of ruptured ear drums. Your eyes, nose, mouth and ears are all interconnected in the sinuses. So it's possible for air escape from any of those points in certain conditions. That's why your ears usually pop when you change elevations. Unless of course they have ruptures which may negate the need to adjust. Ruptures can be cause by internal or external sources. Say you went to deep in the water, the pressure can rupture your ear drums. So can pressure build up from an extremely bad head cold. Base ball in the side of the head, pretty much guarrenteed to cause it. Plugging you nose and mouth and trying to blow out as hard as possible can cause it. The biggest worry about ruptured ear drums is probably the resulting scar tissue when it heals may effect hearing. Second biggest probably has to do with the risk of moisture related problems until they've healed. lol i agree they are connected to your sinuses as im able to breath out of my left ear since being in a fight the other night. when will it stop?
