Great question, i think they didn't went anywhere my theory is that we are energy and when we die that energy dissipates and returns to the earth.

Great question. No, they are just dead. They will get a chance to choose Jesus when he comes again. At least, that is what I believe.

According to my beliefs, God has provided the means by which everyone can have the opportunity to hear about and accept Jesus as the Savior. If they don't receive that opportunity in this life, then they have that opportunity in the spirit world. If the person would have accepted the Gospel in this life had the simply had the opportunity to do so, then they will not be punished for their sins. It does not matter if they lived before Jesus with respect to this. His atonement covers all who accept him whether in this life or the next. On the other hand if someone will not accept Him as their savior, then they must pay for their own sins.

That’s one of the flaws with the belief that Jesus was the saviour of the whole mankind. A more reasonable approach which one would have expected God to adopt and which appears to have support in the Bible and the Holy Qur’an (HQ) is as follows: 1 - no prophet/messenger of the Almighty was the saviour before his mission began. (For example, Abraham was not the saviour before God appointed him to show the way) 2 – all prophets and messengers of the Almighty were the saviours from the time their missions began (so for a certain period Moses was the saviour for the Jews it was not valid for them to look elsewhere) 3 – each prophet/messenger of the Almighty ceased to be the saviour from the time God appointed a new prophet/messenger with a new/revised message (so, for example, Moses ceased to be the saviour when Jesus came to show the way)

I'd like to answer the question - but 'Hell' really needs to be understood for this to make sense. 'Hell' as most Christian churches teach is actually two different places 1) Sheol/Hades and 2) Gehenna/Lake of Fire/2nd death/Tartarus Everyone who dies goes to Sheol or Hades, these are the words for the grave in Hebrew(OT) and Greek(NT), respectively. Most Bibles replace these words with the Latin word 'Hell', which is WRONGLY associated with a place of torment. In each of their respective languages these words mean the grave...and nothing more. Want to know what happens there? Read Ecclesiastes 9:5,10 and Psalms 146:4.....it's a dreamless sleep...nothingnesss. To be clear - the good, the bad and even the occasional perfectly righteous man - all went to Sheol/Hades. Bibles, such as the King James version selectively replace Sheol with words like 'firey pit', when bad people died and 'the grave' when righteous men like Job ask to go there....and this can make things confusing. The fact remains - everyone goes to Hades/Sheol and it's nothingness, not torment...and it's temporary. Look at the end of Revelations 20 if you want to see the ultimate fate of death and sheol/hades. They are thrown into something called Gehenna (aka Tartarus, lake of fire, second death), a separate and distinct place from Hades/Sheol. Gehenna is eternal death. Not only are death and Hades (the grave) destroyed at that time, but also Satan and all his followers. This second death is for good....eternal....permanent death. It's destruction, not torment. Why do we know this? Well, cause death/destruction is always what the Bible threatens....Adam was warned - eat of the fruit and you will surely die -or- Romans 6:23. And, in Revelations 20, you'll see that after death and Hades are emptied out - death and Hades are thrown into the lake of fire. You can't torment a place....a state of being. The Bible uses fire to explain these places cause the image is clear throughout time - fire destroys permanently. You wouldn't consider someone a good parent if they tortured even the most unruly child. And, any religion that teaches that our loving God would torment, even the worst sinners, is lying to you. That's not the only thing they are lying about either. So, what happens to those who lived and died before Christ? The short answer is that a time is coming when Satan will be locked up for 1000 years and the righteous & unrighteous (those who never had a chance to hear Jesus' message) will be resurrected. They will be living on an earth slowly/steadily being restored to an Edenic paradise. You can read about this in Revelations (right at the beginning of chapter 20).
