It sounds normal to me but maybe you should call your doctor just to be sure.

What kind of birth control are you taking? Is it a 21 day pack, with 7 "reminder" pills? What do you mean, your period starts the same day you start your new cycle? Do you mean your new menstrual cycle? That makes sense, because day 1 of the menstrual cycle is the first day of your period. Or do you mean that your period starts the same day you begin your new pack of pills?

This is what happens to me, too. It's like the hormones take a few days to wear off before your period kicks in. I wouldn't worry at all.

I take my riminder pills or the inactive pills and when I start my new pack is when I get my period. Yes its the 21 pill and 7 reminder ones. I'm not sure of the name of the BC. I've taken different BC too and they all still have that affect

Mine does too. I take Yaz, which has 24 regular pills and 4 reminders. My period always starts the day I start my new pack.

Talk to your doctor, you can stop and restart the pills to reset them to a different cycle, but you need your doctors advice on when to do it. Also remember your starting all over, just like your first time so be careful =)
