Sure, it's all up to you, that is until they try to physically force you. Then you break their face. Whatever no may be to of course :)
-
Depends on what and who you are saying no to, I think. Some people are very persistent and can wear another person down over time. As I said, depends on what/who it is.
-
Seems to be working for my wife lately.
-
Not unless you're a strong person. Or have good excuses...
-
Nope. Dare to keep kids off drugs does not work either. I find the best thing is to show videos or picture of what people do on drugs.
-
SOmetimes yes and sometimes no. Some people can stand up to peer pressure other can't. And some people are just too curious. Gets us into trouble!!
-
It's not hard to say 'no', any idiot can do it - and yes, I am refering to people who do/take drugs.
-
I think the imformation in " Just Say No " is what really works -- pamplets , magizines , schooling
-
It worked for me. I ran with drug and booze hounds yet never did it myself. I told them "No and keep it away from me" and they let sleeping dogs lie.
-
If you are intent on trying drugs...then no.
-
No
-
It does if you you mean it. If you are uncertain or really are saying no because you heard you should and not because you want to, it probably wont since you have a good chance of breaking under peer pressure.
-
It does if you really mean it. But you have to have something to say, "yes" to as well.
-
I think the message "Just say no" is negative. I'd rather think "Say yes to good health" Just say yes to a clear mind and a strong working body". But that's just me.
-
it does in some cases, but you have to want to not just say no.
-
Not after 15 pints of Special Brew no
-
Just saying no will work just fine. Sometimes, however, it's not just saying the word, it's the emphasis you put behind it.
-
Sometimes, other times you may need to back it up with physical enforcement. (Or a monetary bribe)
-
It depends on your self control and power over peer pressure. Often, "not today, thanks" can help you save face. "Why not today?" "I'd rather not say, thanks."
-
No, some times you have to just say "Go"
-
Yea, unless your saying it to someone who doesnt understand what no means. No matter what kind of question your responding to if you tell "NO" to someone whos pushy controlling and judgemental then your in trouble. Otherwise, if they are a good friend it should be fine.
