How much do conures cost? What do they eat? Do they talk? What kind is better a Sun Conure, Jenday Conure, or a Blue-crowned Conure?

They can range from $250 - $600... and they are all sweet birds... or can be... but they are also strong-willed and noisy. Often people assume they are easy to care for because they're much smaller than most amazons... But they demand as much attention and care as a Blue and Gold Macaw... I love my parrot - but he is a HUGE handful. Unless you're absolutely positively sure you want a bird that will live for 20 years or more, get a Cockatiel instead!

for the bird alone normally its between 300-2000 depending on what kind of conure it is... not to mention a larger cage (100-300) the fruit and veggies pellets and seed (10-25 a week) toys (20-50 a month) and all the other extras...in my experience sun conures are better behaved then jenday or blue crowns but each bird is different. make sure u are gettin a hand fed FULLY WEENED bird. also before gettin a bird find out all u can about the paticular breed and the life span!!! most parrots will live just as long or if not longer than you if you take care of then properly... they are truly life long pets, but if you ask any true bird person, we wouldnt want it any other way!
