  • I know, I hate that. As if those poor people want to be stared at.
  • Because humans are curious by nature.....They long for excitement and anything out of the norm....;)
  • It's the gawk and stare syndrome, and unfortunately, the majority of th epopulation seems to suffer from it.
  • that's what the world called "curiousity"
  • I call these people "long neckers". they will stretch their necks to the max to see, "what going on", in an accident. i have actually worked two accidents at once. the original accident and the other accident involving a "long necker". he ran right into the rear of the car in front of him. I guess its just natural instinct for humans to be inquisitive or nosy. During rush hour, turn on the police blue lights and watch the traffic almost come to a halt.
  • They're curious and they want to know what happened. They want to learn. They want to know things. Well, I'm pretty sure those are their intentions anyway. I could be wrong, though.
  • Depending on the people but I think a lot of people have a morbid curiosity.
  • People just have no shame these days. Green light means go. Red light means go. And Yellow light means speed up.
  • I don't know why? but they bother me too
  • I believe that they just have very little regard for their fellow man. when you are young, you are taught that it is impolite to stare. Now these "adults" are staring at the crash victims, endangering the drivers around them and helping to cause a traffic back-up. Pretty inconsiderate.
  • THATS NORMAL IN WASHINGTON. ON I-5 INTERSTATE, EVERYONE WILL SLOW ALMOST TO A STOP FOR ANY DUM REASON EVERY DAY AND THEN YOU HAVE ABOUT 5 MILES OF TRAFFIC ON BOTH SIDES OF I-5 JUST TO LOOK WITHOUT REGARDS TO ANYONE ELSE ON THE ROAD. MOST DRIVERS DONT HAVE ANY RESPECT FOE OTHER DRIVERS IN OR NEAR LARGE CITIES. I-5 HAS 5 LANES ON EACH SIDE.
