They did a mythbusters episode on whether coke cleaned engines and such. I don't remember if it worked on grease, but It did take a lot of rust off. Kind of scary to think of considering we drink it but, Then again, Everclear will boil an egg so..

I do not know about truckers, but Diet Coke will clean the road grime off your windshield. Open a fresh can of Diet Coke. turn on the windshild wipers. pour on the Coke and watch it do its magic.

No, coke works on cleaning battery terminals but,take it from a trucker the best way to clean your motor is a good high pressure truckwash.
