yes. where I grew up ( my grand parents farm,) there were always butterflies around, I thought they were really neat, now I miss them..(and those days too:)

I have always been amazed by their beauty.

Many times. They are so intricate and beautiful. Their colors are amazing. And I love wondering why this one looks like this and that is that color or shape. Moths can be beautiful too, with large fake 'eyes' on their wings, like some gorgeous monster staring at you.

Oh yes, many times. The way they experience metamorphosis, from caterpillar into something so small, beautiful and delicate, I see them as a metaphor for life.
