  • He shouldn't in my book. He should be taken out at sunrise, chained to a post and shot in the head, but, our system will make sure he's just about given the key to the city.
  • That story sounds vaugely familiar - did this happen a while ago? Yes, he has rights, which is strange, but he'll get a public trial and probably a public defender. I don't agree with it, but immigrants are able to do all kinds of things that I don't understand, like get driver's licenses. I saw this on the news - guy is illegal, gets license, gets stopped for DUI, has license suspended then reinstated, gets another DUI, gets in accidents, spends a few days in jail, gets back out then goes about living his normal life. Doesn't seem right, somehow. I don't have anything negative to say about immigration, America was built on it, but I don't "get" how illegal immigrants should get the same rights as citizens....especially when they break the law. If you're illegal, shouldn't you be laying low? And if you break the law and we find you are here illegally, shouldn't you get deported?
