It really is a pity that you can honestly ask this question. I believe Bush has the best interests of the country at heart. Trouble is, his version of our country's best interests and what many others thing is good for the country are diametrically opposite. The country is EXACTLY like an individual. Treat your own body right, give it good food, plenty of sleep, study hard, work hard, play, enjoy life and grow in wisdom adn learning and you will ive a productive life and be praised by others. We sure ain't doing this.

Bush is hiding behind "spreading freedom" to secure U.S. global interests. Oil, military strategic locations...etc. He uses "freedom" as his buzz word to vie for public support. If he told the masses his original plans without talking about "terrorism, Freedom, Patriotism" He never would have have had the public support necessary to play world police, and achieve his goals. Bush is spreading U.S. global influence, and attempting to ensure future global dominance...nothing more...if he talks about how he is ridding the world of vicious dictators...then that may be a side benefit. But as the question states...he is bringing another to power as we speak...why would he do that you ask?! In order to secure his influence there. He has reasons for supporting Musharraf...those reasons include OIL, and an allowed military presence in Pakistan. Bush is the worst president this country has ever seen, not because he is unintelligent, but because he has blatantly lied to the American people over...and over...and over...to do what is in "their best interest." And he will be remembered as such.

Bullshit... here, take a look; http://video.google.com/videoplay?docid=-757021411363127583&q=bush+stay+the+course&total=265&start=0&num=10&so=0&type=search&plindex=1 Oh by the way, he was born in Conneticut, not Texas, so that probably explains alot.
