No. My father in law has been married 3 times and even he had the good sense to call it quits after that. Are all the ex-spouses still alive or are they all dead?

Sure! It's been done happily before. Don't listen to the negative people. If you're in love, do it.

It depends. Sometimes things are beyond our control. People die !! In cases where he may have been widowed , that shouldn't be a strike against them. Now , In cases of just plain old mistakes, I'd say two times would be the limit.

Considering that you can control who you fall in love with, I would have taken his/her track record into consideration prior to pursuing a relationship with them. Though not always true, a persons past can be used to predict their future especially if no change has been made in their behavior that may have influenced the past 5 marriages (assuming they were failed marriages and not all deaths... in which case I'd fear for my life if I was you...).

If they were married 5 times, I don't think I would even let it get into the stages of love -- From experience, I'd start raising the red flags if he'd been divorced (not widowed) just once.

Hell no...........I figure it this way first time its for love, if that fails, second time its for money anything after that why the hell waste the time just live with them and call it quits even up style!
