  • I don't especially care, a person's sexuality is solely their own business, and partially that of whomever they choose to share it with. But it's definitely not the business of anonymous strangers who choose to make closed-minded attempts at shoving their opinions and "Values" down other people's throats. If they don't like homosexuality, or if they find something "Wrong" with it, then they don't have to practise it. To those who argue "Adam and Eve, not Steve.", I say "Yeah, well last I checked your name wasn't Adam, Eve, *Or* Steve, so quit butting into other people's private lives." So ner!
  • I sure as hell don't. My first Bar job was at a gay bar, and I learned a hell of a lot.
  • Too many if you ask me. Im straight. Im also short. Would I hate a tall person? No, thats petty and stupid, and its the same reason why I wouldnt dislike a gay person. People need to quit being so damn picky and practice some compassion and respect for their fellow man, whether they be short, tall, straight, or gay.
  • I'm not sure why anyone ever cared in the first place. I sure as sugar don't see why anyone cares now.
  • All the people that still believe that gays are going to hell. It's like get over it people. It's not ok to be gay, while straight people kill, rape, steal, etc. It's just bullshit. We need to keep our nose out of others' business.
  • I have no problem with people being gay or anything else they want to be. My very best stand by me do anything for me friend is a gay man. :)
  • I wonder what you mean exactly by 'care about'? On a basic level, I've never cared, as it's got nothing to do with me. Only if I wasn't heterosexual would that change. Then I'd be in the same 'activity group' as it were, so it would pay me to know and I'd naturally pay attention.
  • Since you posted this in a religious forum, let me give a religious answer. The Bible is quite clear on the issue of homosexuality. It condemns such behavior quite strongly. However, we live in a society that is not governed by any one religion. So, I say that what you do in the privacy of your own home is your business. However, don't ask me to accept behavior that my religion tells me is wrong. I have also seen gay pride festivities. They are often not simply celebrations of people who choose to show romantic attachments for people of the same sex. They tend to be excuse flaunt all sorts of deviant lifestyles and denigrate any group that my disagree with such lifestyles. They quite often put on display behavior that would get at least an "R" rating where it to be put into a movie where children might be able to see it.
  • i hold absolutely nothing against homosexuality IT'S OK TO BE GAY!!
  • I think it is ignorant people who can't accept the fact that we as humans should have the right to love whoever we want even if it is the same sex. I have met a lot of great gay people and it saddens me to see that ignorant people can't show respect to the gay community.
  • I've read the bible and doesn't it say "to love one another, is to love God"? if anything there practically perfect Christians. HATE is the origin of all sin, I have never met a gay person who has ever hated anything anything a righteous person would stand for and yet I have met so many STRAIGHT people who practically make asses of themselves before the press and before GOD.
  • Most people I know are pretty accepting. And about a quarter of them are christian. I actually feel like things are getting better and people are broadening their views. Years ago people worked things out with violence and now people are more open to speak about things. That's a huge step. It makes me happy to see humanity take these steps. And yes, it also makes me sad to see the few that feel the need to spread hate and close mindedness at PRIDE and things like that. But as I said, I think the "haters" are becoming the minority.
  • I'm African, and I'm always stunned by the venomous homophobia in Africa. Both Mugabe (Zimbabwe) and Nujoma (Namibia) seem to blame colonialism and homosexuality more or less equally for their countries' problems! South Africa has a fantastic constitution that protects gay rights and allows gay marriage, but on the streets there's very little tolerance. I've never understood why homosexuality has been singled out in this way, or why it seems to present such a particular problem in African contexts.
  • A lot of people who are all pretty much the same. The religious types. They are selfish, unloving people who do not think for themselves. They are to be pitied. Gay people are usually more real.
