I believe that everything changes a persons life, no matter how small that change is. You are probably looking for an actual story where someone asked a question and have turned their lives around. There are so many things that contribute to everyones lives.

Everything we read, see, hear and so on adds to our experience so in that sense Answerbag would change a person's life. I agree with first response.

Yep. Someone Googling a particular question found my answer on this site, and wrote me an email to talk about it. We've been friends and penpals ever since! I'm sure there are plenty more stories like that one. Of course, there could be negative changes too. Didn't someone's wife post a question about getting her husband to pay more attention to her and less to the site? Ah yes, here it is . . . http://www.answerbag.com/q_view.php/30259 I imagine her life was changed for the worse, but there's been no followup to tell us how it turned out. Oh well.

Definately. Unless they were playing some sick joke, it saved a persons life when they were contemplating suicide. People on here suggested numbers for her to call and as far as I know she's feeling a bit better.
