For someone who is 13, how long should you wait until you even try to get to 1st base with them?

    Whenever both of you are ready. Sex is supposed to be consensual, so you talk about it with your partner openly and you should get a good idea from that.

    hmm depends on what the girl and boy in question think first base is. many people have different thoughts on this.. if you think its holding hands and hugging. well sure thats fine.. kissing or french kissing maybe wait a year or two anything beyond that id say wait 4 years.

    Lets see have you thought it all out first.

    When you are man enough to go tell her dad that you are interested in her and would like to develop a lasting lifetime relationship with her.

    Well then you've got to see if you are responsible enough to pay for an apartment rent, utilities, food, & flowers. Oh dont't forget the car & insurance.
    Most times you are not thinking of stopping at first base. Then you will leave a girl with a baby and not be man enough to stand by her. This will leave you with a district attorney calling you a deadbeat dad and garnishing your check even when you are trying to live with someone else.
    Think of all the children growing up in unstable homes at your school wondering what happened to their dad and mad at the world all because somebody didn't think things all the way through.

    From a dad, pastor, counselor, foster parent. God loves you and wants you to have a good life and a future. Think about it.

    1st is fine at 13, give it about 4 years before you go for 2nd, 3rd and 4th go together and you need to be grown and able to take responsibility for all of your actions before you go there.
