muscle simply isn't flat. If you're doing muscle building exercise, you're going to get BIGGER muscles.

It doesn't seem like working on the ab muscles and building them is what you should be focusing on. Try and incorporate more cardio in to your routines. Also, to help elongate your muscles, yoga and pilates work wonders!

Muscle building is great, but it only goes so far. Unfortunately, there is no such thing as "spot treatment" in getting in shape, so youll have to work on cardio exercize and a healthy diet in order to slim down whats on top of the growing muscles. This will makes those abs easier to see. Good luck =]

You have to lose the fat around the ab muscles.

I find that buying one at the local meat market is the best way.
