My daughter did both not long ago. She is at a stage where she is very affectionate, and I really enjoy it. She gets up from whatever she is doing, comes over and says "Mommy, y'know what? I love you!" and gives me a huge smile and hug. Then she goes back to what she was doing. :-D

A user here. Not going to call him out specifically but he offered me advice on a post from a long time ago and I can see a lot of who I was when I was younger in him. Of course his breakup was sad but he reminded me of myself when I was his age.

My 3 year old, he woke up in our bed and when I woke him up, within seconds he had a cheeky smile, then ducked his head under the blanket and threw it back up saying "peek a boo!", he was then giggling. I couldn't help but smile, it can be so contagious!!
