i suppose you could take on a few private clients and do accounting for them, quit your accounting job and go back to cooking. then you'd have the job you love and some extra money.

Do both- open a restaurant. Since you own the restaurant, make yourself Chef and hire someone else to manage it: but you do the bookkeeping. The manager can do the boring details of running a business while you have fun cooking. Since you are doing the bookkeeping as well, your manager can't rip you off without you knowing it.

Keep your job as an accountant. Work the weekends catering or bedazzle your friends with amazing foods cooked by you. This way you keep your paycheck, yet still get the artistic side of you out. You can also start saving, maybe for a time when you might want to open a restaurant/co own one? It buys you time anyway.

You could find a chef job which pays as much or more than what you are earning now. Find a good employment agency, and keep looking until you find the perfect position. In the meantime, keep the job that pays the bills. It won't be long, if you have the qualifications.
