Allah is the title by which Muslims refer to Yahweh/Jehovah. I know who Yahweh is. Most people do. Now that I've answered your question, I'd like to say a few more things. I neither believe in, nor respect, Yahweh, and I'd appreciate it if you stop the questions that try to shove Him down the throat of ABers. I have read the scriptures said to describe Yahweh (Jewish, Christian, and some Muslim), and I think He is the most evil being ever described. I normally try not to be disrespectful, but when you go around asking questions like you have (with the assumption that there is something worth knowing, and even holy about, this Being), you put the onus on yourself to prove that assumption. You also open yourself up to critical feedback about said Being. According to the Jewish Old Testament, Yahweh quite often orders the wholesale genocide of entire cultures. He orders the rape and sexual slavery of women. He orders the slavery of children, and slaughter of the elderly. He requires blood sacrifice (at the time). Do I want anything to do with this Deity?
