    Dark under-eye circles begin in the capillaries, the tiny blood vessels that web the delicate skin around the eyes. Now, your capillaries are so small that red blood cells sometimes have to line up, single file, to get through. Frequently, red blood cells get lost and wander into the surrounding skin. This isn't a problem - it happens all the time - and your body has a mechanism to mop up these escapees. Enzymes in your body break down the red blood cells, including their hemoglobin (the molecule that gives them their distinctive red color).

    No problem, right? Except for one thing: when hemoglobin is broken down, its remaining components have a dark blue-black color. Just like a bruise. So your dark under-eye circles are actually caused by leaky capillaries.

    I use Avon Intensive Eye Cream and it works wonders.

    For dark circles or bags under your eyes you can place slightly warm tea bags over your eyes, leave on for 10-15 minutes. I haven't tried this myself, but I've heard others who said it works. I hope this helps!

    Drink more water more often, get a good nights rest.
    For things you can do today, get a facial cold pack and put it on your eyes for 15-20 minutes. Or you could use a caffeinated tea bag, (I like green tea)- the day before, steep it for about 2 minutes and then put it in the fridge with a little water so it doesn't dry out. Then put THAT on your face for 15-20 minutes instead of the cold pack. The caffeine helps tighten the skin, and the cold will bring alot of the swelling down.
    Also, Benefit makes a great product called Depuffing Action Eye Gel. http://www.benefitcosmetics.com/gp/product/B000FQ2KW0/sr=1-3/qid=1187038166/ref=sr_1_3/104-3262592-5503100?ie=UTF8&n=165003011&bcBrand=core
    I keep it in the fridge, and that feels great. It helps. Then I put on my concealer and my makeup as normal and go on with my day!
    Hope that helps!

    When you have time to relax, use potatoe slices over eyes. Eggs whites beaten and left on for a few minutes helps and emu oil will actually cure this problem over time. Sleep with your headf elevated a little more. Drink plenty of water and incase your sinuses are any part of the cause, use colloidal silver or emu oil in the nose . There are sites explaining all of this, if you are interested. I did notice that sesame oil helped me, although I wasn't using it for that reason. I know that in a pinch., a slash of cold water usually reduces the puffiness

    Try Haemorrhoid cream, apparently it tightens the skin. Actors & Models often use it.

    I have some beauty tips for you that I'm using for a decade.. really effective. It's inexpensive because it is a natural eye remedy.Here;

    Rinse your face in cold water when you wake up or when puffy eyes attack anytime of the day to constrict blood vessels and reduce swelling. This a great energizer.

    Lie down for 15 minutes, preferably in a quiet room, with either a slice of raw potato or cucumber over your eyes, or cotton wool pads soaked in witch hazel (which reduces swelling) or iced water. Your eyes will sparkle and any puffiness will magically disappear!

    Making sure you are drinking enough water will also reduce eye puffiness. When a person is dehydrated the body starts storing water as a defense system and this will add to puffiness around the eyes.

    using a yellow conceler under your foundation, and pnly putting it on the bottom of the circles and blending up with your ring finger(heat from the finger helps and the ring finger has less muscle strength to stretch the skin) and apply foundation over it patting the eye area, and add a translucent powder over the under eye are will reflect light and make cirlces less noticable
