  • OMG! Im unsure about answering this......... i suffer from ocd and it can be really annoying, im not as bad as i was but sometimes it gets bad :( i do the counting thing i only like even numbers,so if im reading a book i have to leave it on an even page im not going on because i will sound crazy but the weird thing is only my bf and dad know i have it.
  • OOh. The bubbles on those state tests that you had to take in high school. Mine had to be perfectly filled and all the same shade throughout. My bathroom sink also has to be perfect.
  • well, i do like to be clean. my mum tells me i was exactly the same as a little girl. there are no photos of me as a child covered in dirt with icecream all over my face!
  • Can't sleep in the bed if the corners of the fitted sheet aren't smooth.
  • Pretty much everything, but I guess I'll go with being clean. I've actually been diagnosed with OCD.
  • I cant sleep if im not in bed, cant eat a meal if its not breakfast, lunch or dinner time and stuff like that. Its like my brains just not in the right 'mode' to do things if its not in the usual place/time you would do it..
  • My biggest OCD is hair in my throat. If the cat walks by my water glass I won't drink it. If I do get hair in my throat I will gag till I vomit. I wear a mask to brush the dog. I also wash my hands too often.
  • i cant sleep unless i know that all the doors and windows are locked - and i am a disinfecting freak - and...GET YOUR FINGERS OUT OF YOUR MOUTH!
  • My toothbrush looks brand new. I can't stand a messy toothbrush. Same with a hair brush.
  • All my code must be perfectly indented and must not use new lines for curly braces. If that occurs, I'll freak out!
  • I divide my M&Ms into color groups, then eat one color at a time.
  • i don't know if this is OCD but I can't have anything in my pants pockets....maybe change, but thats it. I also eat my food in a certain order. Start with my least favorite on the table then work my way to eating my favorite last.
  • Laundry. I have a thing about it. I am constantly changing towels during the day and if I cannot make up a machine load I go to the drawers of perfectly clean and fresh clothes and decide they need a freshen up so I rewash them. I make sure I choose things that do not require ironing. I also wash my hair all the time, when anything upsets me my first though is a shower to wash my hair.
  • If I'm alone, I separate my M&Ms into colors and make them fight for my favor. Also I refuse to drink out of an opened water bottle, which is weird because I share other drinks - just not water bottles.
  • I always double check the door and windows to make sure everything is locked. Also I always have to have the same things in the same pockets (wallet in this pocket, money in this pocket, pocket knife in this pocket, etc). I also wash my hands a lot and carry purell with me (and yes, it goes into a specific pocket).
  • Straighten my car when I park it. It has to be straight.

  • Everytime I watch a movie or something I have to start over like 5 times.
  • I can have the volume for anything on an odd number. It has to be even!
  • I arrange all my cd's, DVD's and videogames in alphabetical and chronological order.
  • I cant eat anything yellow. Does that count as OCD? If not, then it's still weird...
  • Probably checking the time. My boyfriend tells me to stop checking the time a lot.
  • I click my pen three times at work before putting it in my pocket.. not sure how it got started though, but now I can't stand it when I don't have a clicky pen...
  • You all need to learn what OCD really is. You all mention things that are helpful and that is not OCD. The OBSESSIONS meaning intrusive thougths, images, ideas, etc. is what drives the whole OCD cycle. Stop using the term OCD so loosely, you guys have not idea what is like to live with the disease. Trust me I have had it seen I was a little kid and receiving treatment for some time now and although I am better I know that I still have a long way to go. You guys should just be greatful to be normal
  • my skin. i will find one zit and wont stop. and i also do it to ingrown hairs.
  • I can't step on a sidewalk crack, and I must take two steps on two sidewalk blocks, then one on the next. Food can't mix, and if I get anything on my hands while preparing food, I stop instantly and go wash my hands. While I worked at a summer camp, I bleached my hands close to ten times in less than one hour during the dinner preparation almost daily. Volume levels, and any other thing that has numbers has to be even. I can't use an iPod because it has no numbers on the volume control ( i spend ten minutes sometimes trying to measure to make sure it's exactly one quarter, and therefore an even measurement). I think I may have issues...
  • I have to touch every single thing on my dressor before I go to bed, & ask my fiance at least 10 times before I go to bed if he thinks I am going to throw up.
  • I don't like my food to touch or mix, use a clean fork for each thing i eat,
  • Pretty much everything... Everything has its place. If a book on the book shelf is slightly nudged in, I can't leave the room without straightening it. Labels all have to face forward (whether things are on display or in a cupboard). Mugs have to have their handles all facing the same direction. Coat hangers have to be in the same direction (with clothes facing to the left)...you get the drift!
  • I wash my hands after I touch anything.
  • I have a problem with dry skin because I wash my hands incessantly.
  • Everyone has to be completely silent whenever I'm playing video games. I always sleep with the closet door closed.
  • I'm not that bad in general but I completely freak out when people leave cupboard doors open - especially in the kitchen
  • -In the morning, I have to wash my hair twice. -when i eat a meal, I eat everything in groups. -I like things to be symmetrical -if someone touches my face, I have to touch the same spot after they do -I hate folds in the pages of my books. -If I crack one wrist, I have to keep it even and crack the other. I have a lot of OCD things about me.. that's just what i could think of off the top of my head.
  • No, you are definitely wrong. Not everybody has OCD to some degree. You cannot be OCD about something. This question sounds incredibly stupid and unthought about. . You might as well ask another question saying: "Multiple sclerosis, everyone has it to some degree, what parts of your body are affected by MS?"
