  • Solar ones because they are rare. I'm going to Grand Teton National Park on August 21, 2017 to see a really good one. YES!!! Can't wait!
  • i like them both. i've only seen a few of each. the 1 solar eclipse i did see, i'll never forget.it was awesome, sitting there watching it get darker and darker. the birds got quiet, then started chirping again after about 20 minutes. made me wonder what they thought of it.
  • Lunars happen all the time. Solars are worth traveling to get a great view, especially total eclipses. WOW! To see one in person! They are incredible! Saw one as a kid. Wish I could see one all grown up now that I really understand them.
  • I like both, but solar eclipses are more rare, so you'd rather not miss them. They are also more impressive. You can see that something is happening even if you do not see the sun. Anyway, I fast always tried to see them as they happened. By the last moon eclipse, I waited outside in the middle of the night with my daughter until we could get a nice view of it, because it was quite cloudy. The waiting has been rewarded. She was very happy to see it too.
  • I have seen lunar eclipses and partial solar eclipses. What I have not seen is a total solar eclipse. I really want to see one of those.
