Very good question. I dont think there can be 'one' answer, but il give you my opinion. I think the human race would go back to primative time, and the whole evolution process would start again. We may have another shot at having more morells, but the feelings and thoughts of humans will still be there. There is nothing to say the same stuff wouldnt happen again, and that the bad people with the bad feelings wouldnt strike again, thus causing a significant impact on the population. For instance if the existance was reborn and say a hitler type figure arrose, whose to say that if the situation was played out again, some brave soul might kill him straight away, and stop it all, or they might go on to rule the world. Basically what im saying is it would be very interesting, but i think the effects would depend on the individuals that were re-born with the race.

Like Natzter mentioned, the Human imperfections are still there, Religion attempts to reduce the effects and magnitude of these flaws, but it too, as a creation of humanity, isnt perfect either. At first there would be peace, everyone would share beliefs, but gradually, we would be back to where we started as people began to think more and more for themselves.

I am assuming that some people would survive? I think that things might start off well, but degenerate into what we have, because the Bible teaches that humans have a basic flaw- call it disobedience, call it rebellion, call it sin. As someone once explained it- sIn is the "I" in the middle. But, if the Bible were still there, it would be able to point them to the solution- Jesus.

I'm sure that if the only people to survive were the Amish we would have a much more moral society. However, some people would drift away and be less moral than others.

Have any of you guys seen For Richer or for Poorer? with Kirstie Alley and Tim Allen? http://movies2.nytimes.com/gst/movies/trailer.html?v_id=158832 You can watch the trailer there!

I think development would be slower because there would be no one of different cultures to influence the Amish, but eventually people would drift away from their families and form their own beliefs. I guess its not something we'll ever have the answer to!

That can't really happen as other evidence of our existence (buildings, roads, mines) and other things would survive as decaying ruins, if the bible somehow survived and was translated down the generations. otherwise if there was a massive nuclear war or something everything now would go, and the bible, but we have extended so far across the earth and built such huge structures that evidence of us would survive. Hunter gatherers living amongst the ruins of our civilization would be what it would be like - with mythologies concerning the old ones who destroyed the world with their wicked ways. They would probably have an aversion to technology so as not to repeat our mistakes, more of a focus on magic, the spiritual and the paranormal. Then they would start to investigate the ruins and maybe redevelop technology. would be very interesting to see what happens.
