I have never thought of god as being a source outside myself, and i'm not sure what created the universe..i've always been curious about that one though, and one of those people always wanting to know kind of thing..very curious and all. I have however, always believed in a "higher power". I think that a source of natural love does flow and it is particially inexplainable.. and as my dad says, "if we knew everything(fully where we came from and how to be 100 at peace) then we wouldn't be hear on earth." i agree with that b/c i have heard and think also that earth is a place to experience, and get as much out of it as our soul desires, which is the love that holds the world together. Relying on this has been more and more imortant as i grow up and something to remember as a means of feeling connected. Its also insporing to me as a human being to think of what is possible for us to achieve. .... a minute ago i was sitting thinking about the "collective conciousness" that i know a pretty good deal about and have been even more curious about ever since i heard the updated version of it, called.. "the secret". .....* then it hit me, mabye god" and the whole concept of the word god that was created a while back, came from the collective conciousness that the world created in itself through our overall minds, and the intent of the love of the universe, combined...that could be what it means to be one. So the collective conciousness that created an overall meaning to what the universe even is, could be god... and god is what becomes of the worldly thoughts we have created. and i also think this ability in itself did come from free will, which is a beautiful thing. *** - i also believe that there are 2 realms in life, the one we live in now, which i think is referred to as the world of realativity(earth), and when we die( which really just means our bodies dies), our souls become angels, and we are then in what is referred to as what i call the angelic realm..(there is another term for it though) - i've met people who can communicate with angels and i am extremely interested in that subject as well.

i think that god is an imaginary friend for anyone who believes in it. it is a fake object that has ultimately turned most of the world into a cult of "believers". i do not believe and think that it is all a load of crap.

Ok, here's what I have come up with. This is my own personal idea, and I don't take this as 100%, just a theory. I personally am for The Force. Nerdy, yes. But I do believe there is an energy around us. It is not a mortal, or immortal named "God", there isn't anyone controling it and it isn't a "thing" nor a human. It's nothing really, except anergy. It just is. It is in everything. People, plants, dirt, earth, everything. If I were to claim ANY kind of spiritual ANYTHING, I would say I believe in The Force. I do not support or believe in any form of organized religion or religious type group or propaganda. I will not believe in something that someone is forcing upon me, and I won't give in to the masses because they want to flap their lips. I refuse to call what I believe in, "God" because that gives it a "human type" name, and it's not a diety. It's not a spirit, or a god, or anything. It's rather more like Chi (Or Ki, or Ci, or Energy, or Chakra) IMO that flows through everything.

I'd like to think God is how they stereotype him on tv. A man with a long white beard and a gold staff/stick of some sort in a long white robe thing. He has a great booming voice and he can control everything within a millisecond but he has great compassion as well.

I believe God is spirit. While I do believe He created us in His image, here on earth we are in the flesh and of dust and God himself is spirit.. Almighty. I have many questions that I know one day will be answered. I do not believe He is a myth or something to believe in because I am scared to die like some people think. I believe in Him with my whole heart and soul and I can feel Him. He is the reason I am here and not some big bang theory. - MOO

Any form of god, weither it be the Christan God, the Greek Gods/Goddesses, the Islamic God, or whatever have you, it is nothing more then a way to explain natural occurences - a myth, basicaly. Personaly, whenever I make a reference to God, or a god, I'm only using it as metaphore for a higher power.

From reading the old testament I think He is a murderer of children, He encouraged His followers to kidnap virgins after murdering their families, He gets angry very easily, He is jealous, and He didn't do a very good job protecting Adam and Eve from being tricked into killing themselves resulting in 6,000 years worth of pain, suffering, wars and death. But He loves us very much!!

Of what type of god are we speaking? The Judeo-Christian-Islamic god? He doesn't exist. If you had another god in mind let me know and I will give you my thoughts.

That God is not limited to one gender identity. God for me takes any form and takes no form, whatever it takes to reach me when I reach out.

The rest is his/hers fault.

I do not see god as separate from us in any way and we are all a part of god. Thus I do not see this concept as a being that is male or female. It is the delusion that god is separate from us that is wrong.
