One is yellow and the other one is pink! I have no idea! Really good question.
-
Pink lemonade has grenadine syrup in it and is therefore sweeter than yellow lemonade.
-
Normally pink lemonade should have a small bit of grenadine or cherry syrup, but most of the time it's just a little bit of Red #40 or Red #3

Pink Lemonade is regular Lemonade with Cherry Juice added.

They used to add cochineal to ordinary lemonade to make it pink, so that is the difference.

I think originally it was made with grenadine syrup but then later people would use cranberry juice or cherry, even raspberry juice.

I do like both, I know this, but too much Pink Lemonade gives me a tummy ache! :~(

Usually a little flavor of some sort of berry. It's mostly just the color; it's prettier to have pink then the various shades of yellow. Most likely invented by someone who had great tasting lemonade but the color was dirty yellow. Not very appealing. Add a little ocean spray cranberry juice and it's all better.

Traditionally, pink lemonade is coloured with beet juice. Yellow may be coloured with yellow beta-carotene. Though artificial colourings may also be used. These colourings from 'natural' sources may only be referred to as "colour" in ingredients listing because they are thought to be safe - whereas, artificial colourants must be listed by number.
