For me it's sorta a toss up between Jean-Luc Picard and Johnathan Archer, I don't think Enterprise the series was given nearly enough chance. I thought it had incredible potential and had a great start, but the seem music wasn't right for a Star Trek.

Captian Data. If you'll all recall, he was made captian in one episode, where he single handedly exposed an entire cloaked romulman convoy. Greatest Captain EVER! Although if we're talking major series captains It's gotta be JLP.

Why is everyone always so obsessed with the Captain. The first officer runs the ship. I've always liked the first officer more. Except Kira, didn't dislike her, but I liked Sisko better.
